Attumen the Huntsman

Attumen the Huntsman is the proud owner of Midnight, the strongest horse in the stables. If his horse is put in danger, he will rush to defend and destroy the attackers. As the first and easiest boss in Karazhan, he is considered a gear check for any adventurers who wish to delve deeper into Karazhan. Attumen is optional; it is not necessary to kill him in order to progress to the later bosses. Moroes and the Maiden of Virtue are both considered to be substantially tougher.

Skinning allows players to gather leather and hides by skinning animals. Leather and hides are used for leatherworking. Leather is also used for some blacksmithing, engineering, and tailoring recipes.

Becoming a Skinner

First, find an NPC who can teach you the skinning profession (look for the word "" under the NPC's name). They will likely be somewhere near leatherworking trainers. Ask a guard for directions. Now, you need to purchase a skinning knife. You can find skinning knives ...

Tailoring allows players to cut and weave various pieces of cloth into armor, bags, shirts, and other cloth items. Tailors can create cloth items for cloth wearing classes: Mages, Warlocks, and Priests. Tailors play an especially important role in guilds because they can create bags for the entire guild. They can also create specialty bags such as Herbalism bags that can increase gathering for the guild.
Jewelcrafters learn the art of creating beautiful jewelry and trinkets from metals and rare gems.

The Basics

What is Jewelcrafting?

Jewelcrafters learn the art of creating beautiful jewelry and trinkets from metals and rare gems. By processing the raw ore mined from the various deposits and mineral veins, jewelcrafters can extract gems from the ore which they can then use for their craft. Although miners sometimes find gems while gathering ore, jewelcrafters mostly rely on their prospecting ...

Enchanters use their magical formulae to grant permanent augmentation to weapons, armor and other equipment. Enchanting requires the use of special ingredients that can only be gathered by disenchanting magical items. Using these ingredients enchanters can make items more powerful.

Enchanting is a higher-level Profession, thus requiring more work than most Professions. The enchanter does not generate items directly from the skill, but instead makes existing items better.

This secondary skill allows you to create various bandages that can be used to help yourself and other players. Physicians create bandages and apply them to other players that are wounded. You must have the first aid skill to apply a bandage to another player.

The benefit of this skill is the ability to heal yourself (and others) using items created from ingredients you are finding anyway while you ...

As you're traveling around the world, you'll notice that you often receive pieces of meat, which, instead of being sold to merchants, could be used to create food. If you're a player that relies on food, such as a non-healing player or a player that ...

As a secondary skill, fishing occupies its own unique space in World of Warcraft. Although it is essentially a gathering skill akin to skinning, herbalism, or mining, the mechanics of the skill make it almost like a mini-game. Just like the real-life equivalent, to become a master fisherman you'll have to spend considerable time standing next to bodies of water while holding a fishing pole. Catching a fish will be a test of your reaction time, as you have to right-click the bobber immediately ...

1) What is an instance?

'Instances' can be found all around the world, they can be referred to as 'Dungeons' also. The first sign that the place you are entering is an instance will be the portal type entrance, when you enter this a loading screen will appear and you will be taken inside the instance. Instances are primarily designed for a group of players to come together and conquer the dungeon, defeat the bosses and reclaim the loot. This is done by ...
